Mode 1: Research-Based Protocols
Luxxe’s patent-pending technology detects your distance from the device and dynamically adjusts LED output to deliver the specific irradiance (power) based on published full-body clinical trials—even if you change positions mid-session. Each of Luxxe’s five preloaded protocols is modeled after a specific published clinical study, with precise power and session time parameters tailored to the therapeutic goal. The system locks in the session time to match the study, ensuring you receive the optimal dose for proven results—no guesswork required.
Mode 2: Extended Dosing for Darker Skin
Mode 2 uses the same precise irradiance (power) levels as Mode 1 but extends the session time by approximately 30% to account for higher melanin levels, which can absorb more light and reduce penetration. Each of the five preloaded protocols automatically adjusts in this mode to ensure individuals with darker skin tones receive an equivalent therapeutic dose—supporting effective, inclusive wellness without guesswork.

How to Replicate a Study

1️) Find a Study

Browse PubMed, Google Scholar, or your favorite research source for a clinical trial that matches your goal—whether it’s skin health, recovery, pain relief, or cognitive support.

2️) Note the Key Parameters

Capture the study’s: Wavelengths (e.g. 660nm, 810nm), Irradiance (e.g. 30 mW/cm²), Session Time (e.g. 15 minutes)

3️) Set It Up in PRO Mode

Set all five wavelengths to 100% to activate Luxxe’s live irradiance and distance display (This full-spectrum setting ensures real-time feedback is active during your setup). Adjust session time to match the study. Move closer or farther until the screen shows your target irradiance and distance. That’s it—clinical dosing, simplified.

Why All Wavelengths for Real-Time Feedback?

In PRO Mode, Luxxe’s real-time irradiance display is calibrated to work when all five wavelengths are active at 100%. This gives you the combined, full-spectrum output supported by research and ensures the most accurate on-screen feedback.
